Founded in 2012, Intentus is a Luxembourg-based accounting, treasury, and corporate services firm supporting private equity firms, family offices, and international businesses. We combine local regulatory expertise with a global operational perspective, delivering senior-led, detail-focused financial support to complex structures.
Our Story
Since our founding, we have grown by staying close to our clients, with senior team members directly involved in every engagement rather than delegating to junior staff. This continuity has allowed us to build long-term partnerships with private equity firms, family offices, and multinational businesses operating through Luxembourg structures.
Our Leadership Team
Andrew Hudson
Executive Director
Andrew has more than 20 years of experience across a breadth of industries including real estate and telecommunications. Andrew currently serves on the Luxembourg holding and finance structure boards of numerous well-known New York Stock Exchange-listed real estate and manufacturing companies. Andrew has also served in senior finance roles with global commercial and reinsurance companies in the US, Bermuda and Luxembourg, and began his career in public accounting in 2000. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant with the Institutes of Canada and Bermuda, a Certified Public Accountant (Illinois), and a member of the Institut Luxembourgeois des Administrateurs (ILA). He holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Sacred Heart University.
Mike Spires
Executive Director
Mike qualified as a Chartered Accountant (South Africa) at EY in Durban in 2012. He has been providing professional accounting and consulting services to private companies across a variety of sectors, including financial services, manufacturing, real estate and health care. He specializes in cloud-based accounting solutions and has a passion for process optimization and automation. His current role includes oversight of professional services across Luxembourg, the United Kingdom, Ireland and South Africa.
Hylton Deetlefs
Executive Director
Hylton has over 20 years of professional experience, including more than 16 years in corporate finance, with extensive experience in structuring and securing project funding for businesses across multiple sectors, and more than 10 years in managed services and business operations. As Director of Intentus, Hylton leads operations, business development, and technology strategy. Working closely with clients across Luxembourg, the United Kingdom, and Ireland, he helps businesses streamline operations, embrace technology, and achieve sustainable growth.
